DUOMO PALACE, Florence

Room types range from double rooms with a single bed and futon (city view or courtyard view) to larger rooms accommodating families with a double bed and two futons. Deluxe rooms offer a view of the Duomo and baptistery. All rooms have a private bathroom with shower, bidet, and hairdryer. The property has an older feel, with some rooms described as spacious, clean, and well-equipped, while others are noted as compact with basic furnishings. Sofa beds are used in some units and may feel less comfortable than a traditional bed. The building has high ceilings and a historic character, with some rooms featuring a separate kitchenette area. Daily housekeeping is provided.

The property does not have its own restaurant, so breakfast is provided as a voucher for a bar or café a short walk away - typically across the street. The offering is simple: a hot drink (coffee or cappuccino), a pastry (croissant), and a juice. This arrangement suits those who prefer a light start before exploring. A range of dining options surrounds the property within 0.5 km, including restaurants like Osteria dell Olio and self-service Ristorante Self-Service Leonardo, plus casual spots like Hard Rock Cafe and Mister Pizza.

The property does not include wellness or leisure amenities. All relaxation and recreation activities take place off-site, such as visiting museums, galleries, and parks within walking distance.

The front desk is not staffed; all communication is by message, and entry is via codes provided before arrival. Luggage can be stored (unguarded) before check-in and after check-out. Daily housekeeping is included. An electric vehicle charging station and nearby public parking (€27/day, reservation not needed) are available. The garage concession at Via del Giglio 24/r offers the same daily rate. Ironing facilities and a coffee machine are available in-room. Cots are available on request. The property accepts American Express, Visa, Maestro, CartaSi, and MasterCard.
