EASYHOTEL MADRID ALCALA, Madrid

The hotel sits in a quiet residential area about 7 km from central attractions like Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum and El Retiro Park. Two metro stations (lines 5 and 7) are within walking distance, providing direct routes to the city centre and the airport (approximately 20-30 minutes by metro). Several bus lines also stop nearby. The neighbourhood is calm at night and has a range of restaurants, cafés, supermarkets, and a shopping centre within a short walk. For events at the Metropolitano Stadium (Cívitas Metropolitano), the location is a practical base, reachable by a short bus or taxi ride. Taxis/Ubers to the city centre cost around 20-30 EUR and take 20-30 minutes.

Room options include double, twin, triple, and accessible categories. All rooms are clean and modern with new furnishings and comfortable beds. The design is deliberately minimalistic; there are no wardrobes, drawers, or bedside tables - only a small wall-mounted desk, a single stool, and a few wall hooks. Travellers with more than one bag or wanting to unpack will find the space very limited. The private bathrooms are clean and include a shower and toiletries, though some have a step to enter and lack a hand towel or shelf for toiletries. Road-facing rooms and rooms near the reception can be noisier, while upper floors and interior-facing rooms are quieter. Windows are sealed and cannot be opened, so air quality depends entirely on the air conditioning, which may have seasonal restrictions on cooling. Pillows are thin and flat; no spare pillows are available. The temperature in the room can be adjusted, but the system may default to heating during cooler months.

WiFi is free and available throughout the hotel. On-site private parking costs 15 EUR per day (no reservation needed) and includes accessible parking spaces and an electric vehicle charging station. The 24-hour front desk provides an invoice, and the reception staff are helpful and speak good English. Luggage storage is available for 5 EUR per item per day, which is useful for early arrivals or late departures. Vending machines offer drinks and snacks. The property has a lift, is wheelchair accessible with adapted rooms, and all rooms use key card access with CCTV and security alarms. Daily housekeeping is not included and costs 15 EUR. Pets are allowed at 10 EUR per night. There is no on-site restaurant, bar, or spa.
