ECONO LODGE VERO BEACH - DOWNTOWN, Vero Beach

The hotel is situated 4 km from Vero Beach Municipal Airport, 7 km from the Vero Beach Museum of Art, and 21 km from Fort Pierce Inlet State Park. The beach is a 5-minute drive away. While there is no shuttle, local taxis and public transport are available, and the free on-site parking makes car travel the most practical option. Nearby dining includes Smokehouse BBQ (0.5 km), Penny Hill Subs (1 km), Five Guys (1 km), and Chili's (walking distance).

Available room types include double, triple, and twin/double options, each equipped with air conditioning, a seating area, and a private bathroom. Bedding configurations range from 1 to 2 beds. While a fresh coat of paint has been applied in some areas, reports indicate significant maintenance and cleanliness problems: mold on shower curtains, stained linens, dirty floors, cockroach infestations, musty odors, non-functional air conditioning in some units, and leftover items from previous occupants. Room sizes are acceptable but may feel small relative to the price. The property is adjacent to a car wash which generates noise starting at 8 AM, so a room away from that side of the building is advisable.

The continental breakfast that was previously offered is not currently available. As the property has no restaurant, guests should plan to eat out. Several dining options are within walking distance or a short drive, including Smokehouse BBQ (0.5 km), Penny Hill Subs (1 km), Five Guys (1 km), and Chili's (walking distance). A vending machine for drinks is available on site.
