ELAN HOTEL, Los Angeles

The hotel sits on Beverly Boulevard in a safe, walkable area with dozens of restaurants within two blocks, including King's Road Cafe, Corner Bakery Cafe, and several upscale options. The Beverly Center mall is directly across the street, and the Farmers Market at The Grove is a 20-minute walk away. Hollywood Walk of Fame is 7 km north, Universal Studios Hollywood is 11 km away, and the area offers quick Uber access to Rodeo Drive and downtown. For hospital visits, the 10-minute walk to Cedars-Sinai is a major convenience, and a discounted rate is available for patients. The neighborhood feels safe even at night, though the immediate sidewalk can occasionally have homeless individuals sleeping near the entrance.

A complimentary fitness centre provides basic exercise equipment. There is no pool, spa, or sauna on site. The hotel has a small outdoor terrace with garden furniture, which is sometimes used during happy hour, though smoking in the terrace area can make it less usable for non-smokers. For relaxation, guests often use the shared lounge/TV area near the lobby. The free daily happy hour (beer and wine) is a popular leisure feature. The location provides easy walking access to the Beverly Center mall and nearby restaurants for extended leisure options.

Wi-Fi is free in all areas. The 24-hour front desk provides express check-in/out, concierge service, and luggage storage. A business centre with computers, printer (may need paper), and fax/photocopying is available free of charge. Daily housekeeping is provided upon request; rooms are serviced after a 3-night stay otherwise. Guest laundry and dry cleaning are available for an additional fee. An elevator serves both floors. The hotel has accessible parking (with a low-clearance underground garage), electric vehicle charging stations, and a parking garage. Accessibility features include Braille/tactile signs, wheelchair access, and ADA rooms with handle bars and accessible shower chairs, though the front wheelchair lift has been reported as inoperable. Safety features include 24-hour CCTV, key card access, and safety deposit boxes. A $100 incidental hold is placed on the credit card at check-in, which can take several days to be released after checkout.
