The neighbourhood is lively and safe, with dozens of restaurants and a Safeway supermarket within a short walk.

Each room features a private bathroom with a bathtub, hair dryer, and complimentary toiletries. In-room amenities include a 40-inch flat-screen TV, coffee maker with complimentary coffee and tea, mini-refrigerator, ironing facilities, and a sitting area with dressing area. All rooms have carpeted floors, air conditioning, and heating. The decor is dated-furnishings and fixtures from the 1970s and 1980s-but rooms are clean, spacious, and well-maintained. Some guests have noted that bathrooms, while modernised, show wear (chipped sinks, cracked tubs) and that heating units can be noisy on the highest setting.

Cloud 9 Revolving Restaurant & Lounge is the hotel's signature dining venue, offering a unique 360-degree view that slowly rotates as diners enjoy their meal. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, but the quality and value are variable. Breakfast is a basic buffet that many find overpriced and cold. Dinner portions are large, but the cuisine is inconsistent and prices are high relative to nearby options. For a better dining experience, guests can walk to one of the many restaurants within a few blocks-Japanese, Korean, seafood, Indian, and Canadian options are all available. The hotel bar is open in the evening and offers a more casual way to enjoy the view from the 42nd floor.

The hotel provides a small fitness centre for guest use, free of charge. Massage services are available for an additional charge. There is no pool or spa. The main leisure attraction is the hotel's location itself-within walking distance to Stanley Park, the Seawall, and English Bay, providing abundant opportunities for walking, cycling, and outdoor activities.
