ESPLANADE SUITES - A SUNDANCE VACATIONS PROPERTY, Wildwood

Esplanade Suites is situated just a block and a half (0.5 km) from the beach and a 4-minute walk from the Wildwood Boardwalk and the famous Wildwood beach ball monument. The Wildwoods Convention Center is a 6-minute walk away, making it ideal for tournament attendees. Morey's Piers & Beachfront Waterparks is a 3-minute drive. Numerous restaurants, including Uncle Bill's Pancake House, Abbrussese's Pizza & Ristorante, and Sea Shell Ice Cream, are within a 5-minute walk. The area is quiet and family-friendly, with a supermarket and shopping street three blocks in the opposite direction. No shuttle service exists, but a beach taxi is available.

Rooms are well-maintained, modern, and cleaned upon arrival. Studio units feature a queen bed and queen sofa bed, a kitchenette (two-burner cooktop, microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker, toaster), and an external door with chairs overlooking the pool. One-bedroom suites have a queen bed in the master plus a queen sofa bed. Two-bedroom apartments sleep up to six adults with two queen beds, a queen sofa bed, two bathrooms, and a full kitchen. All rooms have a private bathroom with a walk-in shower and hairdryer, air conditioning, flat-screen cable TV, and free Wi-Fi. No rooms have a private balcony, and there is no elevator - only stairs in a small lobby. The atmosphere is quiet, and rooms facing away from the pool area are even calmer.

Esplanade Suites does not have a restaurant or breakfast service. Every room includes a kitchen or kitchenette stocked with cookware, dishes, and utensils (linen and a basic cleaning starter pack are provided). The on-site BBQ area uses propane grills, with tools available from the office. Vending machines offer snacks and drinks. For sit-down meals, many restaurants are within a 5-minute walk, including Uncle Bill's Pancake House, Abbrussese's Pizza & Ristorante, Poppi's Brick Oven Pizza, and Midtown Diner. The off-season staff can provide local dining recommendations.

The outdoor swimming pool is heated, has a shallow end, and is open seasonally from Memorial Day to the first week of September, daily from 9 am to 8 pm (up to 1.8 m deep). A small baby pool is also available. The pool area is fenced, with sun loungers and chairs. The shared sun terrace and picnic area provide additional relaxation space. For active leisure, guests can use the on-site BBQ area or visit off-site amenities such as a golf course (within 3 km), mini golf, hiking, cycling, fishing, and the beach. There is no spa or wellness centre on the property.

Parking is free and on-site with no reservation needed, but limited to one car per unit. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms. A coin-operated laundry room is located around the back of the building. The front desk offers concierge-style assistance and express check-in/check-out. Daily housekeeping is available on request. Vending machines provide drinks and snacks. Safety features include key access, smoke alarms, and fire extinguishers. The property is non-smoking (designated smoking area provided), and pets are not permitted (service animals only).
