EXTENDED STAY AMERICA SUITES - HOUSTON - KINGWOOD, Houston

The hotel sits in a quiet, woodsy neighbourhood within Kingwood, a suburban area of Houston. George Bush Intercontinental Airport is about a 10-minute drive away with a free shuttle available. The medical centre, Deerbrook Mall, and numerous restaurants along FM 1960 are within a short drive. Attractions such as Minute Maid Park (35 km) and Discovery Green Park (36 km) are accessible by car. A Denny's is located directly in front of the property. Highway access is convenient but a car is recommended for getting to most places, as nearby convenience stores and dining options are not within easy walking distance.

Breakfast is a simple self-serve offering of instant oatmeal, pre-packaged blueberry muffins, hot chocolate, and coffee - a light start to the day rather than a hot meal. For heartier options, guests with the fully equipped kitchen can prepare their own meals. There is a snack bar plus vending machines for drinks and snacks. Many restaurants, including a Denny's right outside, are a short drive away on FM 1960. The hotel also has a barbecue gazebo and picnic area for outdoor cooking.

Leisure facilities include a seasonal outdoor pool (open warmer months) and a hot tub/jacuzzi. The 24-hour fitness centre is available around the clock. The property also has a sun terrace, outdoor furniture, a picnic area with barbecue facilities, and a hot tub - all free to use. Maintenance of the hot tub and pool can vary, so it is wise to check their condition upon arrival if these are important to your stay. A disability lift provides pool access.

Free wired internet is available throughout, and free public parking does not require a reservation. The 24-hour front desk offers express check-in/out and safety deposit boxes. A free shuttle service runs to the airport and nearby areas. Business facilities include a business centre, meeting/banquet rooms, and fax/photocopying. Laundry (ironing, dry cleaning, and a coin-operated guest laundry) is available at an additional charge. The property has a lift, is wheelchair accessible, and is non-smoking throughout. Housekeeping is not daily - towels and bedding must be exchanged at the desk, and kitchens are self-cleaned. Luggage storage is not confirmed; planning for early/late arrivals is advisable.
