SPARK BY HILTON HOUSTON BUSH INTERCONTINENTAL AIRPORT, Houston

The hotel sits directly beneath the main takeoff corridor of IAH, resulting in frequent, loud jet noise from around 5:00 to 23:00. Downtown Houston, Minute Maid Park, and Discovery Green Park are 26 km away. Several restaurants, including Basil's Kitchen and Taco Bell, are within a 5-minute walk, and a strip center with a good Mexican restaurant is also nearby.

Rooms feature a flat-screen TV with cable channels, a safe, ironing facilities, and a work desk. Air conditioning and heating are provided. The double room has one bed, the quadruple room has two beds, and the suite has one bed. There are no balconies or in-room coffee machines. While the rooms are modern, the noise from aircraft and internal traffic can be significant. Some rooms experience light from the parking lot at night; larger blackout curtains would be beneficial. Bedding is 100% polyester, which can retain heat and feel less breathable.

Breakfast is a self-serve bagel bar featuring individually wrapped bagels, muffins, yogurt, orange juice, and coffee. There is no restaurant on-site. For other meals, the hotel has a vending area with snacks and drinks, and several nearby restaurants a short walk away for lunch or dinner.

The fitness centre contains basic equipment, but there are no free weights. A golf course is located within 3 km for an additional charge.

The hotel offers a 24-hour front desk, daily housekeeping, safety deposit boxes, and key card access. Vending machines for drinks and snacks are available. A 24-hour laundry room is on-site. The free airport shuttle operates on a schedule, not on-demand, and its hours are limited. An airport transfer service is arranged by the hotel but carries an unpredictably high cost. Parking is free but requires a reservation; vehicle security has been a significant concern with thefts reported. The hotel does not offer a 'park and fly' package.
