OYO HOTEL HOUSTON KATY FREEWAY, Houston

The property is along a busy highway corridor, 9 km from CityCentre Plaza, 19 km from Constellation Field, and 22 km from Memorial Park. The Galleria Houston and Waterwall Park are within driving distance. Nearby dining includes Lupe Tortilla's, Ginger Thai Cuisine, and others within 0.5 km. While walking to amenities is possible, a car is recommended for broader access due to the highway-oriented setting. Noise from traffic and surrounding activity is common, especially in rooms facing the front.

Room types include double, quadruple, and apartment-style options with one or two beds. Each unit has a private bathroom with free toiletries, a shower or bath, and a TV with cable channels (non-smart TVs). Maintenance and cleanliness have been reported as inconsistent: cockroaches, stains, holes in linens, and broken appliances (TV, A/C, refrigerator) have been documented. Some rooms show signs of past damage (burn marks, flood residue). Noise from neighboring rooms and hallway activity is frequent. For a better experience, request a room that has been recently inspected and avoid lower-floor units near stairwells.

Dining options at the property are limited to vending machines for beverages and packaged snacks. No breakfast, restaurant, or bar is available. However, within a 0.5 km walk, guests will find Lupe Tortilla's, Ginger Thai Cuisine, Salata, Watson's House of Ales, and several other restaurants offering a range of cuisines. For those without a car, these dining options make self-catered meals convenient.
