Sea-Tac Airport is about 24 km away (30-minute drive); the hotel can arrange a third-party car service with 24-hour advance notice. Amtrak's King Street Station is 6 km away (10-15 minute drive). The neighbourhood feels safe at night, and there are numerous eateries within a few blocks, including a diner, pizza place, and café. Note that ongoing construction near the hotel may affect driving and parking access.

Rooms range from family rooms with two queen beds or a king bed and sofa, to triple rooms and studios. All have private shower, hairdryer, work desk, wardrobe, carpeted floors, and heating. Many rooms offer city views; all city-view rooms face the Space Needle. Select rooms feature a fridge and microwave. Some travellers find the rooms compact, while others report that rooms with sofas feel spacious. Road-facing rooms and those near the elevators can experience hallway and street noise; requesting a higher floor away from the elevator can improve quiet. Air conditioning units are standard, though some may be noisy. The property is older but well-maintained, with clean rooms reported. Note that carpets are present, and some rooms have been described as dated in style.

Breakfast includes hot dishes such as spinach and cheese frittatas, quinoa and kale egg-white options, plus cereal, yoghurt, bread, and gluten-free bagels.
