QUIET, CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE ROOM, Seattle

The property lies in the Haller Lake area, a residential neighborhood known for its safety and quiet. The Space Needle and Seattle Asian Art Museum are about 14 km away, while the University of Washington is 9 km from the house. Highway access is convenient, making downtown Seattle roughly a 15-minute drive outside peak traffic. The Northgate shopping area, with Target, a 7/11, and a light rail station, is about 2 km away - walkable or a quick drive. A park is also around the corner. For those without a car, the light rail connects to central Seattle and the airport, though some have found public transport options limited; ride-sharing scooters are available nearby via app. The Seattle Lake Union Seaplane Base is 13 km away. The property is about 34 km (34 km) from SeaTac Airport, typically a 25-minute drive without heavy traffic.

The property offers double rooms with either a private bathroom (featuring a walk-in shower, hairdryer, and free toiletries) or a shared bathroom (shared between two rooms). Rooms with a private bathroom range from $79 to $89. Each room includes a tea and coffee maker, a dining area, a wardrobe, parquet flooring, and heating. Some rooms have a balcony - availability varies by booking date. All rooms are non-smoking. The rooms are consistently described as clean and quiet, though some are noted as sparse with limited storage and stark lighting; those in shared-bathroom configurations may find the walls thin, so rooms without a private bathroom may have less sound isolation. Fans are provided since there is no air conditioning. The property is adults only. The shared kitchen and common areas are spacious and well-maintained, providing a home-like atmosphere.

There is no restaurant or breakfast service at the property. However, the shared kitchen is a central feature, allowing guests to prepare their own meals. It includes a stovetop, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, oven, and a good selection of dishware, cutlery, and basic cooking utensils. Coffee is provided free of charge. There are two modest eating areas - a dining table and a living area - for meals. For those who prefer to eat out, the Northgate area (about 2 km away) offers several quick-service and sit-down options, including a Target with groceries. The kitchen is practical for longer stays and those with dietary restrictions.

This property does not have a spa, wellness center, swimming pool, or gym. Leisure facilities are limited to the shared living room and outdoor spaces. There is an ice-skating rink nearby. The quiet neighborhood and available parking make it easy to explore Seattle's attractions by car. The lack of on-site leisure amenities is offset by the value-for-money pricing and the clean, comfortable environment.

Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the building. Free private parking is offered on site with a designated spot - no reservation is needed. Self check-in is handled via door codes, with instructions sent promptly before arrival. The host is responsive by text or email. Lockers are provided for storing personal items. Security features include CCTV inside and outside, smoke alarms, fire extinguishers, and key access to the building. No daily housekeeping is provided unless requested, but the property maintains high cleanliness standards. Luggage storage is not formally offered, but the lockers can be used for small items. No airport shuttle is available. The property accepts American Express, Visa, Maestro, UnionPay, and MasterCard. Pets are not allowed (only service animals with documentation). There is no lift; all rooms are on one level.
