Fit Hostel Madrid is situated in a central neighbourhood with the metro station immediately across the street, providing a two-stop ride to the city centre. Puerta de Atocha is a 15-minute walk away, Reina Sofia Museum 1 km, and Plaza Mayor 18 minutes on foot. Adolfo Suarez Madrid-Barajas Airport is 14 km away, reachable via metro or bus without a transfer. Numerous restaurants, cafes, and supermarkets are within a 5-minute walk, making dining out or grabbing supplies convenient.

The dormitory is air-conditioned and heated, and each bed is enclosed by thick privacy curtains with a reading light and power outlet. Under-bed lockers are provided with padlocks (using standardised codes). Shared bathroom facilities include separate showers and toilets; towels and free toiletries are supplied. There is no kitchen, but a dining area has a microwave and electric kettle. Daily housekeeping keeps the room clean. Note that top bunks have limited handholds for climbing, and beds near the entrance may hear door noise.

The hostel does not serve meals or breakfast. The communal dining area is equipped with tables, a microwave, and an electric kettle, but no plates, cutlery, or cups are provided. For full meals, numerous restaurants and cafes are within a 5-minute walk, including a variety of cuisines such as Spanish, Argentine, and Asian options within 300 metres.

All guests receive free access to a full fitness centre on the same street, approximately 30 metres away. The gym includes modern equipment, locker rooms, and showers. This is a notable added value for travellers who want to maintain their fitness routine. No other leisure facilities are available on site.
