HOTEL FLIPPER AMSTERDAM, Amsterdam

The Amsterdam RAI Congress Centre is 1 km away on foot or a short tram ride. Tram 4 runs directly to Dam Square and Central Station in about 20 minutes. From Schiphol Airport, take a train to RAI station (10 min) then tram 4. The neighbourhood is quiet and safe, with several restaurants (Yuan's Hot Pot, Casa Pino, Indian options) and supermarkets within 500 m. The area is well suited for budget-conscious travellers attending events at the RAI or wanting easy access to central Amsterdam without staying in the busy city centre.

Room types include single rooms with shared bathroom, double rooms with shared or private bathroom, and triple rooms with private bathroom (3 single beds or 1 double + 1 single). Each room has parquet flooring, a desk, tea/coffee facilities, and a sink (in-room for some layouts). Beds are typically 70 cm wide; some mattresses are older and uneven. A few rooms have a skylight that does not open, making air circulation limited. Air conditioning is available in some rooms. Noise from corridors can be noticeable, and internal walls are thin. Daily housekeeping is available for a fee. No balconies. The property has no lift; stairs are very narrow.

No on-site dining is available. There is no breakfast option, but guests can use a microwave and fridge in the common area. Several cafés and restaurants within a 5-minute walk provide alternative meals, including Yuan's Hot Pot, Casa Pino, and Indian options. For those who prefer to self-cater, nearby supermarkets carry basic supplies.

The garden is a quiet outdoor space for relaxation, but the property does not offer a swimming pool, spa, wellness centre, or gym. Bicycle rental is available (additional charge) for exploring Amsterdam by bike. Secure bicycle storage is provided in a closed backyard.

Wi-Fi is free in all rooms. The 24-hour reception offers express check-in/out, tour desk, and free luggage storage. A public computer with internet is available. Bicycle rental costs €15 for 24 hours, and secure backyard bike storage is free. Cleaning services (daily housekeeping, ironing, laundry) are available for an additional fee. Other amenities include a safety deposit box, key card access, 24-hour security, and vending machines for snacks and drinks. Street parking costs €4.50/hour (free Sundays); no private parking. The property is not wheelchair accessible due to stairs and no lift.
