The boat is situated in a central canal location, directly across from the Nemo Science Museum. Amsterdam Central Station is a 10-minute walk away, with trams and trains providing access across the city and to the airport. Nieuwmarkt is 13 minutes on foot, Dam Square 20 minutes, and Rembrandtplein 1 km. Several restaurants and cafés are within a 10-minute walk, including Eenvistweevis and Greetje (0.5 km). Free ferries from behind Central Station provide quick access. The mooring may shift between Amsterdam and Zaandam; check the current position before heading out.

Breakfast is a self-serve continental buffet featuring a variety of bread, cold cuts, cheeses, spreads, yogurt, cereals, fruit, and juices. Warm options such as pancakes are sometimes offered. Tea and coffee are available free of charge throughout the day. The dining area features large windows with canal views, and on fine days breakfast can be taken on the deck. There is no restaurant or bar on board. Several sit-down restaurants and cafés are within a short walk for lunch or dinner.

Wi-Fi is available at no charge in the common areas but does not reach the cabins. The shared lounge has a TV, seating, and board games. Free luggage storage is available before check-in and after check-out, allowing you to explore the city without your bags. A shared kitchen area has a toaster and microwave for guest use. There is no reception desk; communication is handled via messaging. Guests make their own beds upon arrival and are expected to clear their dishes after breakfast. Shared shower and toilet blocks are cleaned daily but may experience humidity, odour, and occasional hot-water delays.
