FOUR POINTS BY SHERATON EDMONTON WEST, Edmonton

Guest rooms are equipped with air conditioning, a mini-fridge, microwave, tea and coffee facilities, and an iron. The smart TVs allow streaming from personal devices via YouTube and Netflix. Beds are consistently described as comfortable, with soft or medium firmness options. Some rooms have a window-mounted A/C unit that operates continuously, which may affect light sleepers; requesting an interior-facing or upper-floor room may help. Bathrooms are clean and offer a bath or shower with good water pressure, though the mirror lighting can be dim for detailed grooming. The overall room feel is modern, clean, and spacious, with ample storage. No rooms have a private balcony.

The family-friendly restaurant offers a menu of American dishes and a cocktail hour, with a kids' menu available. Breakfast is a continental buffet with bread, pastries, and hot drinks; it is considered adequate but basic, and costs 10 CAD per person (not included in the room rate). For lighter bites, the property has a vending machine with drinks and snacks, and a minimarket is on site. Several chain restaurants - including Dairy Queen, Pat & Mike's Family Restaurant, and Conyaks Bar & Grill - are within 1 km, providing additional dining variety.

The indoor swimming pool is heated and open year-round from 7:00 to 23:00, with pool towels provided. Access is by appointment only - at check-in you can reserve a 45-minute slot to ensure availability. The hot tub is also available by reservation; note that there are no in-room jacuzzi tubs. The fitness centre is open 24 hours and contains enough equipment for a full workout, including free weights and cardio machines. Leisure facilities are generally well-maintained and clean, though the pool and hot tub area may occasionally require attention.

Parking is abundant and free, including a heated underground garage and an electric vehicle charging station. The 24-hour front desk offers express check-in/check-out and an ATM/cash machine. A business centre is available for free, and meeting/banquet facilities can be arranged for an additional charge. Luggage can be stored in the storage room or office for early arrivals or late departures. There is no cloak room but staff are readily available to assist. The hotel is cash-friendly for deposits, though a credit card is required at check-in.
