GIO' SUITES, Rome

Trastevere is known for its lively atmosphere, with numerous restaurants, cafés, and bars within a 5-minute walk. The property is set on a quiet street, reducing street noise. Public transport options include bus H from Mastai stop to Termini station and tram 3 to Circo Massimo metro. The Great Synagogue of Rome is 800 metres away, and the Colosseum is reachable on foot in about 20 minutes. Fiumicino Airport is 21 km from the property, and Roma Termini station is easily connected via bus. The area is safe and walkable, ideal for exploring Rome's main sights without a car.

Rooms are furnished with a wardrobe, tiled floors, and heating. Some rooms may feature a window onto an internal courtyard or an inner street. The spa bath is a compact corner whirlpool tub; some rooms include a shower. Room sizes vary, and the property does not offer rooms with balconies. Noise from neighbouring rooms can occasionally be heard due to thinner walls, but the overall atmosphere is quiet, especially for rooms facing the inner courtyard. The accommodation is housed in a historic building on the first floor, with lift access available for luggage. Some minor maintenance issues have been noted, but the rooms are generally kept clean and comfortable. Guests staying multiple nights may wish to confirm daily cleaning arrangements at check-in.

When breakfast is ordered (typically arranged the evening before), it is served in the room at a requested time, often including a cappuccino, fresh croissant, and fruit salad. The property does not have a dedicated restaurant, but the surrounding Trastevere streets offer an extensive selection of restaurants, pizzerias, and cafés within a 5-minute walk. Popular nearby dining options include Cajo & Gajo (0.5 km), Otello (0.5 km), and several other well-reviewed eateries on the same block. For self-catering, a fridge is provided in the room, and a shared kettle and coffee machine are available in the corridor.

The wellness amenity consists of a spa bath (whirlpool or jacuzzi) in the private bathroom of each room. This is a compact corner whirlpool tub, suitable for relaxation after a day of sightseeing. No other spa or wellness centre is present - no pool, sauna, or gym. The property is situated in Trastevere, which offers vibrant evening entertainment and walking tours of the historic district, but there are no organised leisure activities on the premises.

Free WiFi is accessible throughout the property. Luggage storage is available, and lockers are provided for security. A lift operates for moving luggage to the first-floor rooms. The check-in process is contact-free; guests are typically met by a staff member or receive a key left in a designated spot. Fire extinguishers and key access are provided for safety. Accepted payment methods include Visa, Maestro, and MasterCard. Pets are not allowed, and there is a designated smoking area but no on-site parking. The property offers a basic service: cleaning is available daily but may need to be requested. There is no restaurant or spa on site, and no shuttle service. For those arriving by public transport, bus and tram stops are within a 5-10 minute walk.
