The property sits on a cobbled street with a steep incline about 150 metres long, which taxis sometimes refuse. Public transport is a short walk away: the 49 bus to Vatican City takes 10-15 minutes, the metro station is 10-15 minutes on foot, and bus stops are within one minute. The area is away from tourist crowds but well connected - the Vatican is 4 km, the Colosseum 6 km, and central sights are reachable with one bus or metro ride. Two supermarkets and a park are within a few hundred metres, and several pizzerias and bars are within walking distance. The neighbourhood is generally calm and safe, though evening isolation has been noted on quieter nights.
