Higgs Beach is a 10-minute walk, while the Butterfly and Nature Conservatory is also 10 minutes away. The Ernest Hemingway Museum is a 15-minute stroll, and the Key West Express ferry dock is less than 2 km away (Uber, Lyft, and taxis are available from the dock; a walking route is also feasible). For those without a car, the free Duval Loop bus stop is just blocks away, making it easy to reach Mallory Square and the historic waterfront. Most of Key West's attractions, restaurants, and nightlife are within comfortable walking or biking distance, and many find a car becomes unnecessary once the property is reached. Nearby dining options include Seven Fish, Wing Masters, and Oasis Mediterranean Cuisine, all within 0.5 km.

Each room features a private entrance, local Caribbean artwork, and a private bathroom with shower and hairdryer. In-room amenities include a flat-screen cable TV, iPod docking station, free Wi-Fi, refrigerator, tea and coffee maker, ironing facilities, and air conditioning. Some units also include a kitchenette with a microwave and sink. Suites offer a separate living room with a futon that folds out for sleeping, and can accommodate up to 3 people. Deluxe suites are available on both the first and second floors. Rooms tend to be compact and some face the road, so lighter sleepers may prefer a quieter interior unit. The bed quality is noted as generally comfortable, though some rooms show signs of wear such as peeling paint or musty odours, particularly in humid conditions. There are no balconies, and some ground-floor rooms have windows that cannot be opened.

Breakfast is included in the rate and consists of individually wrapped bagels, muffins, fresh fruit, yoghurt, and juices, all served outside in the covered courtyard. Coffee and tea are available 24 hours a day via a self-service machine. Gluten-free options can be provided by noting the request during reservation. There is no on-site restaurant, bar, or room service, but the location places a variety of eateries within a 5-minute walk, including Seven Fish, Pescado, and Oasis Mediterranean Cuisine. For those staying in rooms with a kitchenette, cooking ingredients can be sourced from nearby markets such as Key West Cakes (0.5 km) or Pierogi Polish Market (0.5 km). The adjacent construction work may create daytime noise near the breakfast area.
