Room sizes are generally very small - the single room is not the advertised 107 sq ft. Beds in some rooms are low to the ground and the metal bedframes can be creaky. Air conditioning is available but in some cases covers only the hallway with fans pushing cool air into the rooms. Shared bathrooms are cleaned regularly but can feel small. Most rooms have a dining table and free toiletries. Noise from thin walls and street-facing rooms (especially on Jalan Alor) can disturb sleep until late at night.

A small on-site snack bar is available for light purchases. The coffee house on site can provide hot drinks. Jalan Alor is 0.5 km away, offering a dense strip of street-food stalls and restaurants. Popular nearby eateries include Express Teppanyaki, The Saffron Restaurant, Lot 10 Hutong, and a highly rated roti beef place across the street.
