GUGGENHEIM LUXURY SUITES BY BRICOLA APARTMENTS, Venice

The apartment overlooks a quiet street and offers lovely views of the basilica, providing a calm atmosphere away from the busiest tourist crowds. It is a short 0.5 km walk to the Peggy Guggenheim Collection and 2 km to Piazza San Marco, reachable on foot in about 10 minutes or via a 2-minute vaporetto ride from the nearby Salute stop. La Fenice Theatre is a 17-minute walk (1 km), and Rialto Bridge is 2 km away. Several restaurants and a grocery store are within 0.3-0.5 km, making self-catering easy. The area is well served by water buses, providing quick connections to the airport (17 km) and the Lido. The location scores highly for its convenience and quiet character.

Available in two configurations: a 1-bedroom unit with a living room, separate bedroom, and one bathroom, sleeping up to 2-4 guests; and a 2-bedroom unit featuring two separate bedrooms, a living room, one bathroom, and sleeping up to 7-9 guests. Both include a private bathroom with shower and free toiletries, a washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, electric kettle, tea and coffee maker, flat-screen TV, and a sofa. The 2-bedroom apartment adds a tumble dryer and garden views. The property is on the second floor (50 stairs, no lift). The space is well-maintained, clean, and stylishly decorated. The single bathroom means groups larger than 4 should plan for some sharing, especially with more than one family. The kitchen is well-stocked for self-catering.

The kitchen includes a stovetop, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, tea and coffee maker, and all necessary cookware and utensils. A grocery store is within 0.5 km, making it convenient to stock up. For dining out, nearby options include Linea D'Ombra (0.5 km), Osteria Sconta By Steto (0.5 km), Bistro da Cici (0.5 km), Corner Pub (0.5 km), The Gritti Terrace (1 km), and Cafe Florian (2 km). The apartment's location also means plenty of other Venetian restaurants and cafes are within a short walk or boat ride.

The apartment's location near the water bus stop provides easy access to gondola rides, water taxis, and vaporettos for exploring the city. The quiet area around Santa Maria della Salute is pleasant for walks, and the nearby canals offer scenic views. Beyond boating, the apartment's own peaceful setting and garden views in some units contribute to a relaxing stay.

Internet access is free and available in all areas. The apartment provides a washing machine and, in the larger unit, a tumble dryer (though one report indicates the dryer may not function). Ironing facilities, free toiletries, and a hair dryer are provided. Check-in is from 14:00, and check-out is at 10:00. Late check-in between 18:00 and 20:00 costs €25.
