The hotel sits in a tranquil side street in the attractive Winterhude district, a short walk from the large Stadtpark city park. The U3 Saarlandstraße station (5-8 min on foot) provides direct connections to the city centre, main train station (about 20 min), and St. Pauli stadium. Several bus routes stop right outside. The neighbourhood is residential and quiet, with an Edeka supermarket and a bakery near the station. The canal, several cafés, and restaurants (Kentauros, Dubara, Zur Gondel) are within a 5-10 minute walk. Airport access via public transport takes about 30 minutes.

Rooms are generously sized and clean, with a warm, modern decor. Each has a flat-screen TV with Sky and German professional football channels, a coffee machine (pods available for €1 each), minibar with reasonably priced items, and a private bathroom with cosmetic mirror and good shower pressure. Soundproofing keeps the rooms very quiet, especially those facing the inner courtyard - ideal for light sleepers. Some rooms are in an adjoining building. Beds are comfortable with two separate mattresses on doubles. Heating, carpeted flooring, and a safety deposit box are included.
