Several supermarkets (Lidl, Hofer, Spar, Billa) and a fruit vendor are within a few blocks, and around 20 restaurants and cafés are found within 0.5 km. The area is safe and mostly local, with good connectivity for car-free exploration.

All rooms feature parquet floors, heating, soundproofed windows, and shared bathrooms with a shower, hairdryer, and free toiletries. Double rooms are available, and the Superior room type offers no additional in-room facilities beyond standard - it still has a shared bathroom, so the upgrade purely provides a potentially more spacious or better-positioned room. Rooms vary in size; some are compact and can feel tight, especially for larger people, and rooms directly next to the kitchen (especially rooms 1-5) can be noisier from common-area activity. Windows open onto a busy street on the first floor, making street-facing rooms potentially noisy for light sleepers. Heating has been reported as inconsistent, with some rooms not having accessible radiators, and upper-floor rooms have been described as warm. Noise from the corridor and kitchen can be an issue in ground-floor rooms, but the modern, clean design and comfortable beds are consistently noted.

The hostel does not have a restaurant or serve breakfast, but the shared kitchen is well stocked with cooking equipment, two fridges, a microwave, and utensils - ideal for preparing meals. The kitchen area is large and maintained clean with daily freshening. A paid coffee machine (€2.50, coins only) is available in the common area. Food stored in the kitchen fridges must be labelled with your room number or it will be disposed of. Within 0.5 km there are around 20 different dining options ranging from Vietnamese, bakery, gelateria, and local Viennese pubs. A fruit vendor sits directly opposite the property, and three major supermarkets are within a few blocks. The surrounding area also has plenty of cafés for those who prefer eating out.

The nearby ice-skating rink provides a convenient leisure option for those interested in skating. Additionally, Schönbrunn Palace and its gardens (a 4 km walk or quick metro ride) are accessible for outdoor activities and sightseeing. The local district is quieter and predominantly residential, suitable for relaxed walks. No wellness facilities like a spa, gym, or pool are present at the property.
