HOME2 SUITES BY HILTON LAS VEGAS NORTH, Las Vegas

The hotel sits just off the I-15 freeway, making it a practical base for the Las Vegas Motor Speedway (under 5 km) and the Las Vegas Strip, which is about 15 km south. Fremont Street, the Mob Museum, and the Neon Museum are 12 km away, while Harry Reid International Airport is 23 km. The immediate neighbourhood includes a gas station and several quick-service restaurants (Taco Bell, Farmer Boys) within walking distance, plus a Walmart 5 km away for supplies. The area is quiet and feels safe, though the immediate surroundings have a more industrial-adjacent character - proximity to Nellis Air Force Base means occasional aircraft noise during exercises.

Rooms are consistently described as large and well-laid-out, suitable for families of 4-6. Each unit includes a full-size refrigerator, microwave, tea/coffee maker, and a flat-screen TV with cable channels. The beds are notably comfortable, and the privacy curtain between the sleeping and living area is a practical feature. Air conditioning works well. Bathrooms have a barn-style door which may provide less privacy; some first-floor rooms have had occasional ant issues, so a higher floor is recommended if that is a concern. The hotel allows connecting rooms, ideal for groups.

The daily breakfast buffet is well-regarded for its variety and quality. Offerings include hot dishes that change each day, such as chorizo and egg soufflés, make-your-own waffles, fresh oatmeal, yogurt, and a good selection of breads and pastries. Coffee, hot tea, and hot chocolate are available 24/7 in the lobby. The breakfast is consistently stocked and fresh. For other meals, several fast-food and casual dining options (Taco Bell, Farmer Boys) are within a short walk, and a Walmart is 5 km away for groceries if you prefer to use the in-room kitchen.

The outdoor swimming pool is open year-round and is complemented by a hot tub. The pool area faces east and becomes fully shaded from mid-afternoon onward in warmer months. The fitness centre is more spacious than typical hotel gyms, with treadmills, a bike, an elliptical, free weights, and a multi-use machine plus a Peloton bike. An outdoor patio features long fire pits and seating, creating a pleasant evening space. On-site laundry is available ($2 per wash/dry).

Parking is free, private, and on-site with no reservation needed - a significant advantage for road-trippers. An electric vehicle charging station is available. The front desk is staffed 24 hours and offers express check-in/out and luggage storage. The hotel has a business centre and an elevator. Wi-Fi is free throughout the property. Pets are permitted for a fee. Laundry facilities are self-service. The overall service is consistently noted for warmth and professionalism, with several staff members receiving individual praise for going above and beyond.
