HOME2 SUITES BY HILTON PHOENIX NORTH HAPPY VALLEY, Phoenix

The hotel is situated just off Highway 17, providing easy access to northern Phoenix and surrounding areas. A large shopping center and several dining options - including Red Robin, Applebee's, and Subway - are within a 0.5 to 1 km walk. The Musical Instrument Museum is a short drive away, and the Phoenix Convention Center is 33 km south. For groups, the location works well for youth sports tournaments and family gatherings. Scottsdale Airport is 27 km away, while Deer Valley Rock Art Center is 4 km from the property. The freeway access makes driving the most practical mode of transport, though there is no on-site parking reservation required.

Rooms are consistently described as spacious and very clean, with a modern, well-maintained feel. Each unit includes a kitchenette equipped with a full-size refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, and dishes. Bedding configurations range from one queen bed to two queen beds with a pull-out sofa bed, sleeping up to six in the larger rooms. The sofa bed is generally considered more comfortable than the main bed mattress, which some find too firm. Sound insulation between rooms and floors is limited; upper-floor rooms or end-of-hallway units may offer slightly better quiet. Air conditioning is available and controllable, with no motion-sensor thermostat restrictions. Room service is upon request and not automatic daily; items left behind by previous guests have been reported in some cases.

The free breakfast buffet runs from around 6:30 AM to 10:00 AM on weekends and holidays. Offerings include a self-serve waffle maker, hot items such as omelettes and chorizo sausage patties, a yogurt bar, and toppings. The breakfast sandwich station and hot food areas sometimes struggle to maintain temperature due to the open bins. The buffet can become depleted and is not always replenished promptly, particularly after 9:00 AM or on busier days. For a heartier or more consistent meal, guests may prefer to eat earlier or plan for lunch at nearby restaurants. Coffee and tea are available 24/7 in the lobby. The hotel also provides loaner grilling equipment for poolside BBQ use; charcoal or gas grills are available on the property for group cookouts.

The outdoor pool and hot tub are open seasonally and available until 10:00 PM. Pool towels are provided. The pool area faces south, so direct sun is limited to a few hours per day; the area is still pleasant for lounging. Next to the pool there are multiple BBQ grills and an outdoor fireplace with seating, making the space suitable for group gatherings. The fitness centre is free and includes cardio and weight equipment. The hotel also provides board games in the lobby and loaner grilling equipment for guest use. For family groups, the outdoor space is a highlight, with enough room for children and adults to spread out.
