CASA DE HUESPEDES ALMANSA, Madrid

The property is situated on Bravo Murillo street, a lively area with numerous supermarkets, affordable restaurants, bars, and shops within a few minutes' walk. The Cuatro Caminos metro station (Lines 1, 2, and 6) is about a two-minute walk away, making it easy to reach major attractions such as Gran Via (3 km) and Plaza Mayor (5 km) without needing a car. Santiago Bernabéu Stadium is 2 km away, and Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport is 16 km away-accessible via metro with a single transfer. The neighbourhood is safe and well-connected, though street noise can be audible in rooms facing the road. Parking is not available on site, and the area is best explored on foot or by public transport.

Rooms are private but compact, typically around 9 m2, with some larger options available. Each room includes a bed (single, double, or twin), free toiletries, a flat-screen TV, and heating. Air conditioning is not available; a ceiling fan is provided in most rooms. Windows are present in some rooms, but certain rooms face an inner courtyard or have limited natural light. The shared bathrooms are cleaned twice daily, though maintenance may vary. The building has no elevator, and rooms on the 4th floor (effectively the 6th floor) require a steep climb. The property is older and basic in style, best suited for travellers who prioritise location and affordability over modern decor or spacious accommodation.

Casa de Huéspedes Almansa does not have a restaurant or serve breakfast. However, the surrounding area is rich with dining options within a short walk. Numerous affordable restaurants, cafés, and bars are located on Bravo Murillo and nearby streets, offering Spanish, Asian, and international cuisine. A vending machine with drinks is available on site. For breakfast, several cafés in the vicinity offer coffee and pastries at reasonable prices.
