HOSTEL BELL, Prague

The hostel sits in Prague 2, 600 metres from the National Museum, 1 km from the Astronomical Clock, and 2 km from Old Town Square. Charles Bridge is 2 km away. The main railway station is 15-20 minutes on foot; the metro and Karlovo Náměstí are about 10 minutes away. Numerous restaurants and bars are within 300 metres. The area is quiet at night, supporting good sleep. No parking is available, so using public transport or walking is the most practical way to explore the city.

Rooms are set on the fourth floor (no lift) and face a quiet street. Dormitories, singles, doubles, twins, triples, and quadruple rooms are available, all with shared toilet and shower facilities. Beds have included linen and towels. Many rooms are spacious, but furniture and decor are dated. Some beds may squeak, and thin walls and glass doors mean noise travels. No air conditioning or fans are provided - opening windows is the only cooling option. Curtains are fitted for privacy. Lockers are available for valuables.

Hostel Bell does not operate a restaurant or serve breakfast. Instead, the shared kitchen is stocked with a stove, electric kettle, fridge, and all necessary tableware - it is practical for self-catering. Several cafés, pizzerias, and takeaway options are within a 3-minute walk, including Pizzeria Castello, Faust Bar, and KFC. For a wider choice, the city centre is 15 minutes away on foot.

Wi-Fi is free in all rooms. Laundry and luggage storage are available for an additional charge. A locker room can secure belongings. Private check-in and check-out are offered; a key box at the entrance allows 24/7 access after hours. Daily cleaning is performed, though some areas may feel under-serviced. Fire extinguishers and key access are in place for security. Cash is the only accepted payment method; card payments are not possible.
