HOSTEL VITA BERLIN, Berlin

The hostel is positioned in a practical area for event-goers: Olympiastadion is a 30-minute walk, Waldbühne is accessible by taxi (around 13 EUR), and Kabarett Die Wühlmäuse is just 5 minutes on foot. Kurfürstendamm is 5 km away, and Berlin Brandenburg Airport is 29 km by car. The surrounding streets offer several restaurants within 0.5 km, including Italian, Indian, and sushi options. Parking is free on the street overnight but requires a disc during daytime hours. Public transport links are excellent, with a bus stop and U-Bahn station nearby, allowing quick trips to central landmarks like Brandenburg Gate and Berlin Philharmonie.

Each room features a private shower and toilet, carpeted floors, heating, and a wardrobe. The double room has one double bed; the single room has one single bed. An electric kettle with tea and coffee selections is provided, along with a work desk and seating area. Courtyard-facing rooms are noticeably quieter and are often recommended for light sleepers. While furnishings are functional and the overall standard is that of a well-kept hostel rather than a hotel, rooms are reported as spacious, clean, and comfortable for short stays. No air conditioning is available - windows can be opened for fresh air. Luggage storage is free and useful for early arrivals or late departures.

The breakfast buffet includes scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, a selection of cold cuts and cheeses, yogurt, fresh fruit, pastries, juices, and hot drinks. The coffee is frequently praised. The breakfast room is attractively arranged. For other meals, several restaurants are within a 5-10 minute walk, including Italian, Indian, and sushi venues. The hostel does not have a restaurant or bar for lunch or dinner, so plan accordingly if returning late.

WiFi is free of charge in rooms. The building has a lift for upper-floor access. Private check-in and check-out services are available, and luggage can be stored free of charge. Safety features include key card access, smoke alarms, and fire extinguishers. The property is entirely non-smoking.
