Hotel Details

Location

Centrally located in Spandau's historic old quarter, a 3-minute walk from Altstadt Spandau U-Bahn and 10 minutes from Spandau S-Bahn station.

The hotel sits on a quiet street in the heart of Spandau's old town, directly opposite St. Nikolaikirche and a 10-minute walk from the Spandau Citadel - ideal for concert visitors to the Waldbühne or Citadel events. Altstadt Spandau U-Bahn (3 min) provides quick access to Kurfürstendamm and central Berlin, while Spandau S-Bahn (10 min) connects to Olympiastadion, ICC exhibition grounds, and Friedrichstrasse. The area is pedestrian-friendly with restaurants, pubs, and cafes within a few minutes' walk. A public parking garage is 5 minutes away on foot; loading/unloading is possible directly at the hotel due to the cul-de-sac.

Accommodation

Cosy, clean rooms with carpeted floors, flat-screen satellite TV, mini-bar, trouser press, and en suite bathroom with hairdryer and free toiletries.

Rooms feature comfortable beds, effective heating, and an AM/FM alarm clock. Many are spacious with large windows; effective bathroom ventilation keeps the room fresh. The property is a historic building with character - rooms are clean and functional. The quiet street location means minimal traffic noise, though light sleepers can request a courtyard-facing room for extra peace. No rooms have a balcony. The family-run atmosphere extends to accommodation, with personal attention and fast, prepared check-in.

Dining

Breakfast buffet served 07:00-10:00 at 12 EUR per person, with cooked-to-order eggs, wide tea selection, and special diet menus available on request.

The breakfast is consistently described as excellent value: a varied buffet with breads, pastries, cheeses, cold cuts, and hot options including freshly prepared eggs (boiled or fried to order) and a notable tea selection. Breakfast is available at an additional charge of 12 EUR per person. Special diet menus are available on request. There is no restaurant or bar on site; the hotel's location in the old quarter puts numerous pubs, restaurants, and a sushi bar within a 3-5 minute walk for other meals.

Leisure

The hotel does not have a spa, swimming pool, or gym; leisure options are centred on Spandau's historic attractions and nearby concert venues.

No on-site wellness facilities are available. The hotel's strength lies in its location for cultural and event visitors: the Spandau Citadel (10 min walk), Waldbühne concert arena (2 S-Bahn stops from Spandau station), and the old town's restaurants and pubs are all easily reached on foot. The peaceful, quiet street provides a restful base after exploring.

Amenities

Free Wi-Fi throughout, private parking nearby (10 EUR/day), luggage storage, packed lunches, and fax/photocopying available. Pets on request.

Wi-Fi is free in all areas. Public parking is available at a nearby location (5 min walk, 10 EUR per day, no reservation needed); loading/unloading is possible directly at the hotel. Key card access, safety deposit box (free), smoke alarms, and fire extinguishers provide security. Services include packed lunches, trouser press (free), and fax/photocopying (chargeable). Cots are available on request. Pets are allowed with prior request and possible charges. Check-in from 14:00-21:00, check-out until 11:00; early/late requests are possible but not guaranteed.
