HOTEL DU TERRAGE, Paris

The hotel is situated in a lively, well-connected area. Chateau Landon Metro Station (line 7) is 150 metres away, providing direct access to Opéra Garnier. Gare de l'Est is a 6-minute walk, Gare du Nord is 1 km away (a 20-minute walk), and Saint Martin Canal is 700 metres from the property. Charles de Gaulle Airport is 27 km from the hotel. The immediate area offers numerous dining options, including Le Robinet D'Or, Le Valmy, and KluayMaipa, all within a 5-minute walk. The area is well-connected but some may find the immediate surroundings less polished after dark; the metro and train stations make central Paris easy to reach.

Rooms are simple and basic, with dated furniture and decor. Some rooms have a bath, others a shower. All include a private bathroom. The property is older, with thin walls, so noise from adjacent rooms is likely. Rooms facing the courtyard are quieter. No air conditioning is available; rooms can be hot in summer, so a fan or open window is the only ventilation. The hotel uses well-worn linens and towels. Some rooms are very small. For a budget stopover the basics are covered, but those sensitive to older conditions or noise may prefer a higher-standard property.

There is no restaurant or breakfast service on-site. However, the surrounding area offers a wide variety of dining options within a short walk. Restaurants such as Le Robinet D'Or, Le Valmy, and KluayMaipa are just 300 metres away. Guests can explore the local bistros and cafés near Gare de l'Est or along the Saint Martin Canal.

Wi-Fi is available throughout the property and is free of charge. The 24-hour front desk allows late check-in. Daily housekeeping is provided, though bed linens and towels are not replaced unless requested. Luggage storage is possible both before check-in and after check-out, making it convenient for late flights or train departures. Safety features include CCTV in common areas, smoke alarms, and a security alarm. Payment can be made with Visa, Maestro, or MasterCard. No lift is available; rooms are accessed via a narrow spiral staircase.
