HOTEL LOCANDA CA FOSCARI, Venice

The location is a prime base for exploring central Venice. Scuola Grande di San Rocco is 200m away, Rialto Bridge is a 13-minute walk, and numerous restaurants, bakeries, and bars (including Pizzeria Ristorante da Sara, Osteria Al Vecio Forno, and Pasticceria Tonolo) are within 0.3km. Boating activities can be arranged from the surroundings. The area is pedestrian-only, so all movement is on foot or by water taxi.

Accommodations include single rooms (1 bed), double rooms (2 beds), triple rooms (2 beds), and quadruple rooms (3 beds). Each unit has a private bathroom with a shower and hairdryer, plus a wardrobe, work desk, and heating for summer use. Family rooms are available. In practice, the property shows significant wear: very old furniture, peeling wall decorations, torn mosquito nets, and occasional insect presence. Rooms can be very small with minimal natural light. Heating and hot water are unreliable outside warm months. The property has no air conditioning, so sleep quality depends on open windows (no screens), which can let in mosquitos and street noise.
