SANSAMUELE APARTMENT, Venice

The apartment is in a peaceful residential street away from the busiest tourist flows, offering a more authentic Venice feel. La Fenice Theatre is a 6-minute walk, Piazza San Marco less than 1 km, and Rialto Bridge an 11-minute walk. The nearby vaporetto stops (San Samuele and Accademia) give easy access along the Grand Canal to the train station and Marco Polo Airport (16 km). Basilica San Marco, Doge's Palace, Ca' d'Oro, and Peggy Guggenheim Collection are within walking distance. Dozens of restaurants, bars, and a supermarket are close by, making it practical for self-catering.

The apartment has no restaurant or breakfast service. The small kitchenette is equipped for basic meal preparation (stove, refrigerator, pots, pans, cutlery, dishes), but visitors have noted that cookware and dishes may not be clean upon arrival-washing them before use is recommended. At least seven restaurants, including Trattoria da Fiore and Osteria Al Bacareto, are about 0.5 km away, offering a range of Italian cuisine. Supermarkets are also nearby for groceries. The apartment's central location makes it easy to explore Venice's extensive dining scene without relying on an on-site facility.

Free WiFi is available in the apartment. No parking is provided-the nearest public parking is at Piazzale Roma at the entrance to Venice. Pets are not allowed. The unit is non-smoking throughout. Heating is available but insulation is weak. Check-in is from 14:00; key collection can be a self-service arrangement (key left in a safe spot or with a nearby shop) or through the host, who may have limited English. The host provides an invoice on request. Housekeeping is not included during the stay; cleaning upon arrival has been inconsistent. The apartment has a private entrance and is on the ground floor, suitable for guests who cannot manage stairs.
