The area is well-served by public transport, with a bus stop nearby, making it easy to explore further afield without a car. The neighbourhood is lively and convenient, though rooms facing the main street can experience traffic noise.

Rooms are generously sized and tiled throughout in a clean, Mexican-family-hotel style. Each room has a private bathroom (some with showers that can wet the floor due to a basic curtain setup), air conditioning, an AM/FM alarm clock, and free toiletries. Beds are firm, which some travellers appreciate and others may find too hard. Road-facing rooms can be noisy from traffic over the stone-paved street, especially at night - an interior courtyard or upper-floor room is a better choice for light sleepers. Some rooms also provide a fridge and free bottled water from a cooler on the landing.

The hotel offers a breakfast buffet featuring a selection of Mexican dishes, such as chilaquiles, eggs, and fresh fruit, along with coffee and juices.
