HOTEL MOSAIC CENTRAL ROME, Rome

The hotel is on a quiet street opposite a police station, making the area feel safe and peaceful despite its central position. Repubblica Metro Station (500 m) and Roma Termini (700 m) provide direct links across the city and to both airports. Most major landmarks are reachable on foot in 10-15 minutes. Numerous restaurants, cafés, and a Carrefour Express are within a few minutes' walk. A bus stop 90 metres from the door adds extra flexibility, especially for connecting to Termini or other transport hubs.

Room conditions vary: some are recently renovated with modern fixtures, while others show signs of age such as stained walls, older furniture, or worn bedding. Soundproofing between rooms is limited, and noise from the street or neighbouring rooms can be audible. Room sizes range from compact singles to spacious quadruples configured with two single beds and one bunk bed. Mattress firmness and pillow quality vary - some are comfortable, others thin or uneven. Shower water temperature and pressure may fluctuate. No rooms have a balcony; views are either of the street/piazza or an internal courtyard. An iron is available from reception, and a shared electric kettle can be requested. Daily housekeeping is provided, though replenishment of soap may require a request.

Breakfast is served in a communal area and includes bread, pastries, hot drinks, and cold selections - basic but practical for starting the day. The hotel does not have a restaurant or bar for other meals. However, the surrounding streets offer a wide variety of dining options within a few minutes' walk, including Italian trattorias and international cuisine. A Carrefour Express is nearby for self-catering. Breakfast service has been suspended in the past, so confirm its availability when booking.
