HOTEL OTTAVIANO AUGUSTO, Rome

The hotel sits in the Prati district, a quiet and safe area with local eateries, shops, and a supermarket nearby. The Vatican Museums and St. Peter's Square are about 10 minutes on foot, while the metro station provides direct connections to Rome's main railway station and city centre attractions. Bus stops are within 200 metres. For those driving, note that the parking entrance is at Via Giordano Bruno, 75 - not the main hotel address - and the area has one-way streets. Fiumicino Airport is 27 km away; a paid shuttle is available.

Accommodation types include single, double, twin, triple, quadruple, and two-bedroom family suites. All rooms have private bathrooms with a shower, bidet, and complimentary toiletries. Some rooms offer city views; family suites have up to four beds with one toilet. Rooms are equipped with a desk, wardrobe, safe, kettle, and free WiFi. The family suite is noted as compact, making it more suited for short stays. Upper-floor rooms and those not facing the street tend to be quieter, as some rooms near the restaurant area can experience noise.

Breakfast is a buffet served from 7:00 to 10:00, including pastries, breads, eggs, bacon, fresh fruit, juices, and capuchino. The restaurant serves traditional Italian dishes for dinner, with a children's menu available. Half-board includes a choice of starter or main course, plus dessert. The covered rooftop terrace provides a pleasant setting and views of St. Peter's Basilica. Wine and champagne are available for an additional charge. Breakfast can also be served in the room for an extra fee.

The main leisure facility is a roof terrace accessible from the fourth floor, furnished with tables and chairs for relaxing or dining outdoors. It offers good views of St. Peter's dome and the surrounding area, making it a pleasant spot for an evening drink. There is no pool, spa, or fitness centre on site.

The hotel provides a 24-hour front desk with concierge, daily housekeeping (linen changed every four days), and luggage storage at no charge. A lift provides access to all floors. On-site parking costs €30 per night and must be reserved in advance; the entrance is at Via Giordano Bruno, 75. A paid airport shuttle is available (€70-€80 for up to four people, with details required upon booking). Other paid services include laundry and ironing, meeting/banquet facilities, and fax/photocopying. Safety deposit boxes, CCTV, and 24-hour security are in place. Wheelchair-accessible rooms and facilities are provided.
