Nollendorfplatz metro station is a 5-minute walk away, providing access to both East and West Berlin via four underground lines and numerous bus routes. From Berlin-Brandenburg Airport, take the S-Bahn then transfer to the U-Bahn for a direct journey (no hotel shuttle). The Winterfeldtplatz weekly market (Wed & Sat) sets up right outside, selling fresh produce, baked goods, and street food. Major trade fairs (ITB, IFA) and events such as the Berlin Marathon are easily reached by public transport. The historic neighbourhood - once home to Einstein and Bowie - offers a wealth of cafés, boutiques, and bars. Walking time to the Brandenburg Gate is about 30 minutes; the zoo and Tiergarten park are a 15-minute walk.

Rooms are spacious and individually designed, with high ceilings, parquet floors, and modern furnishings. Bedrooms include comfortable beds with a pillow menu, a wardrobe, a seating area, and in many units a refrigerator and fan. Double windows and soundproofing keep street noise to a minimum, though rooms facing the Mexican restaurant below may hear some activity until midnight; courtyard-facing rooms are notably quiet. Bathrooms are renovated, clean, and equipped with a shower, hairdryer, and complimentary toiletries. Some rooms overlook the square. The family room features a double bed plus a high-quality sofa bed, ideal for three people. Daily housekeeping ensures impeccable cleanliness. No balcony is available, but large windows offer good natural light.
