HOTEL P.L.M., Cannes

The hotel is a 2-minute walk from Cannes SNCF train station (350 m) and a 5-minute walk from the Palais des Festivals convention centre. The famous shopping street Rue d'Antibes is only a few steps away. Cannes is served by TGV from Paris (around 5 hours), Lyon (4 hours) and Marseille (2 hours). Nice Côte d'Azur Airport is less than 30 minutes by car or about 45 minutes by shuttle bus. The pedestrian street location keeps the area quiet overnight, but morning waste-collection trucks can be audible from street-facing rooms. Many shops, restaurants and the marina are all within easy walking distance, making a car unnecessary for city-centre exploration.

Room categories: Single (9 m2, street view), Standard Double (12 m2), Superior Double (14 m2 with bathtub) and Superior Twin (bathtub). Superior rooms are the only category suitable for adding a baby cot. Some rooms have parquet flooring and soundproof walls. Practical planning points: room sizes vary considerably within the same category - some rooms are compact (especially Single and Standard Double), while recently renovated units in upper floors have modern bathrooms. Several rooms face the inner courtyard or are adjacent to service areas, where early-morning noise from cleaning staff and kitchen preparation can be significant. Rooms to the rear tend to be quieter. There are no balconies. Kettles are available on request. Daily housekeeping is free.

The breakfast room is located on the first floor and offers a continental spread: fresh bread, pastries, hot drinks, fruit juice, cereals, yoghurt, cheese and jam. A self-service coffee machine provides various speciality coffees. Breakfast is not included in the room rate by default - check your booking details. A boulangerie is located in the same building for those who prefer a lighter or earlier option. There is no on-site restaurant for lunch or dinner, but the surrounding pedestrian streets are full of restaurants and sun-drenched terraces within a few minutes' walk.

The hotel does not have a swimming pool, spa or wellness centre. The Promenade de la Croisette with its sandy beach is a 5-minute walk away, and there are plenty of walking routes and rental options (bikes, scooters, cars) available locally. The location is ideal for exploring Cannes on foot.

Wi-Fi is free throughout the property. Daily housekeeping is included; dry cleaning and fax/photocopying are available at an additional charge. Free luggage storage is provided for early arrivals or late departures. Irons can be borrowed from reception. Safety features include CCTV in common areas, fire extinguishers, security alarm and smoke alarms. The hotel has a lift (to upper floors, though the top floor requires one flight of stairs). There is no airport shuttle service. Late check-in after 23:30 is possible - the key is collected from the partner hotel La Villa Tosca at 11 rue Hoche, 30 metres away, which has 24-hour reception.
