HOTEL SAINT VINCENT, Lyon

The hotel occupies a quiet street in a central area that is walkable to Vieux Lyon, Place des Terreaux, and major attractions. Lyon Perrache train station is an 18-minute drive away, but the metro (subway A to Hôtel de Ville) combined with a 5-minute walk provides easy access. Numerous bars and restaurants are within 100 m, and the surrounding streets have cafés and services. The location is excellent for sightseeing but requires planning for those arriving by car due to the lack of on-site parking.

Room types include single, double, and studio options. Double rooms feature a fireplace and seating area, while studios have a kitchenette. Room sizes vary: superior rooms and some doubles are spacious with high ceilings and parquet floors, while single rooms are described as small. All rooms have air conditioning, heating, soundproofing, and blackout curtains or electric shutters in superior rooms for darkness. Some rooms face the courtyard and are quiet; others may have noise from upper floors. There is no lift, and rooms are on upper floors accessible via a wide stone staircase. No balconies or mini-bars are available.

Breakfast is served on garden-style furniture and includes a buffet with bread, pastries, hot drinks, and occasionally fresh scrambled eggs upon request. The hotel has no restaurant, but dozens of restaurants, bars, and cafés are within a 5-minute walk, covering cuisines from Lyonnaise to Lebanese.
