HOTEL TETI, Rome

The hotel is on a quiet, safe side street, a two-minute walk from Termini and within 10 minutes of Santa Maria Maggiore. The Colosseum, Roman Forum, and Trevi Fountain are all reachable on foot (15-20 minutes or a short metro ride). The Terravision airport shuttle departs from Termini for €7-8 per person to FCO. Multiple restaurants (Elettra, Aquila Nera, Santa Maria Osteria Romana, Gran Caffè Feliziani), cafes serving panini and pastries, and ice-cream shops are within 0.5 km. For trips further afield, the metro, buses, and trams are directly accessible at Termini.

Rooms are spacious and well-maintained, with comfortable beds, extra pillows available on request, and soundproofed walls with good light-blocking curtains. Bathrooms include a hairdryer, bidet, and daily towel changes. The decor is basic but tidy, with vintage furniture, high ceilings, and free toiletries. Air conditioning is fitted but charged separately. Some rooms face a quiet courtyard, reducing street noise. Those needing a desk or kitchenette will not find them, and no ironing service is provided. The small lift (2-person capacity) serves the second-floor property. Connecting rooms are not available.

A continental/Italian buffet breakfast can be booked at check-in for €10 per person. If you prefer to skip it, the immediate area offers cafes (Gran Caffè Feliziani) for panini, pastries, and drinks - many opening early. Highly recommended restaurant Elettra, right next door, serves lunch, dinner, and gluten-free options. At least eight other eateries (including KFC, Ristorante Amadeo, and Ristorante Il Secchio) are within 300 metres, offering a range of cuisines from Roman to Brazilian.
