HOTEL TRAVERSE DES ARTISTES, Cannes

The hotel sits in a charming pedestrian zone within the Suquet district, which means most of Cannes' key attractions-beaches, shops, restaurants, and the Palais des Festivals-are within a short and easy walk. Nice Côte d'Azur Airport is 26 km away, and the hotel can arrange airport transfers for a fee. For getting around without a car, the central location makes walking the primary mode of transport, and a tram stop outside provides easy access to the city and beyond. The area is lively yet relatively calm for a city-centre spot, especially compared to the main boulevards.

Rooms range from double rooms to large suites, with many offering sea, garden, or city views through large windows. Each unit features a private bathroom with a walk-in shower and free toiletries, air conditioning, heating, soundproof walls, a washing machine, and a well-fitted kitchen with a stovetop, refrigerator, microwave, and kitchenware. Suites and the penthouse include a separate living area, a dining table, and larger TVs with streaming services. Some rooms and suites have private terraces or balconies, and a single bed can be added to most rooms, though it noticeably reduces floor space. For longer stays or those who prefer to self-cater, the kitchen facilities are a practical advantage, and the soundproofing helps keep the accommodation quiet.

A continental breakfast buffet is available each morning for 19 euros, with options for breakfast in the room. For lunch and dinner, the hotel does not have its own restaurant, but the surrounding pedestrian streets are filled with dining options within a 2-minute walk, including Sequoia Cafe, Le Trefle, Le Bistrot du Suquet, and many more. The concierge team can assist with reservations at the city's popular restaurants, which is a valuable service in high season. A welcome drink is offered upon arrival, and wine or champagne can be ordered to the room for an extra charge.

The hotel offers a wellness centre with massage treatments (full body, back, head, neck, hands, feet, and couples massage) available at an additional charge. Guests can also book spa and wellness packages, attend yoga classes, or join fitness sessions with a personal trainer. Access to the beach is just a 6-minute walk away. The leisure facilities are designed for relaxation and recovery rather than extensive sports, making the property a good fit for guests who want to de-stress without venturing far from their room.

The hotel provides a full suite of practical services: free Wi-Fi throughout, a 24-hour front desk with concierge, complimentary express check-in/out, and luggage storage (useful for early arrivals or late departures). Security includes CCTV, key card access, and safety deposit boxes. Business facilities such as fax/photocopying are available for a fee. The property also offers a paid shuttle service for airport transfers, a lift to all floors, and is wheelchair accessible with Braille and tactile signage. Pets are accepted on request for a 30 euro supplement. Daily housekeeping is included at no extra cost.
