HOTEL VIKI, Vienna

The U6 Gumpendorfer Straße station is a 2-minute walk away, giving direct metro access to the city centre and attractions such as Schönbrunn Palace (2 km). Tram line 18 runs from near the hotel directly to Hauptbahnhof. The immediate area contains affordable dining options, supermarkets, and a range of casual eateries, but late at night the neighbourhood around the metro station may feel less comfortable for some. Street parking is expensive and limited, making public transport the most practical option. The Natural History Museum is about 4 km away, and Vienna International Airport is 21 km from the hotel.

The restaurant serves a breakfast buffet that includes continental, American, Italian, and full English/Irish options. The meal is freshly prepared, with some variety in hot and cold items. Though the coffee and selection may not suit all tastes, the breakfast is practical for starting the day-especially for those who prefer a savoury or hearty meal. A few cafés and bakeries are within a short walk for lighter alternatives. The indoor dining area and the garden courtyard provide pleasant settings for the morning meal.

The on-site garden offers a quiet outdoor space, and the terrace provides additional seating for fresh-air breaks. A private garden is accessible to hotel guests. Bicycle rental is available (additional charge), and bicycle parking is also provided. For those looking for more active leisure, the nearby area includes an ice-skating rink. The garden is especially pleasant during warmer months, but there are no spa, pool, or gym facilities on the property.
