IBIS STYLES PARIS BUTTES CHAUMONT, Paris

The hotel sits on a quiet residential street in the 19th arrondissement, with the Laumière metro station entrance directly opposite. Line 5 provides a three-stop journey to Gare du Nord and connections to all major train stations and airports. Charles de Gaulle Airport is reachable in 30 minutes using public transport. Buttes Chaumont Park, Canal Saint Martin, the Zénith, and the Cité des Sciences are all within a 10-minute walk. The area feels safe and is well-served by bakeries, supermarkets, and a wide range of restaurants, with around ten dining options within 300 metres. Free luggage storage means you can explore the neighbourhood immediately on arrival.

Each room includes a private bathroom with a bath or shower, hairdryer, and free toiletries, plus a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, free WiFi, a wardrobe, and individually controlled air conditioning and heating. Standard double and single rooms are compact - around 12-14 m² - with enough space to walk around the bed and open one suitcase comfortably. Higher-floor rooms and those facing the courtyard tend to be quieter, while rooms on lower floors overlooking the street may pick up more noise from the neighbourhood. The lift is small, suitable for one person with a piece of luggage. Road-facing rooms may have French windows with a view of the street but less privacy without closing curtains. Rooms are cleaned daily and maintained to a clean, modern standard.

The breakfast buffet includes freshly squeezed orange juice, fresh fruit, a selection of cheeses, jams, multi-grain bread, pastries, cereal, and hot drinks, plus accompaniments such as yoghurt, cold cuts, and bananas. The hotel does not have its own restaurant or bar for lunch or dinner, but the immediate neighbourhood offers a wide variety of restaurants, bakeries, and cafes within a short walk. The complimentary tea and coffee station in the lobby is available throughout the day for all guests. Special dietary requests such as gluten-free options are accommodated if communicated at the time of booking.

The hotel does not operate wellness facilities such as a swimming pool, spa or fitness centre. However, the large Buttes Chaumont Park is a 10-minute walk from the hotel and offers walking paths, green spaces, and a lake. The Canal Saint Martin area, also a 10-minute walk away, is popular for walking and cycling. A children's playground and board games are available on-site.
