The hostel is situated next to the elevated subway tracks, so trains pass immediately outside the building. The M train stop is about a one-minute walk away, offering a direct connection to Manhattan in a single stop. Williamsburg is a vibrant neighbourhood with bars, Korean and Latin-American restaurants, supermarkets, and a 24-hour convenience store within a few minutes' walk. The immediate area is mainly residential and can feel rough at night; walking alone after dark is not recommended. The hostel is easily reachable from JFK Airport via subway. Several bus routes also stop on Broadway, close by.

Accommodation is in semi-private cabins that form part of a larger open-plan floor. The partition walls stop about 18 inches below the ceiling, so light and noise travel freely between rooms. Rooms are very small - roughly 4 x 1.2 m - with just enough space for a bed and a small locker. Bedding and a towel are provided; linen is changed every two days. Lockers are small, and padlocks are not included. Noise from neighbouring rooms, hallway activity, and the passing trains is significant; earplugs are available at reception at no charge. Air conditioning and heating are provided. Room cleaning is done daily.

There is no restaurant, bar, or breakfast service. A vending machine in the lobby sells drinks and snacks. The large communal kitchen is fully equipped with cooking facilities, a refrigerator, and ample counter space for preparing meals and storing food. Numerous Korean, Mexican, and Latin-American restaurants are within a three-minute walk, as are several supermarkets and a 24-hour convenience store.

The common lounge includes a pool table and table tennis table at no extra charge. A piano, television area, and comfortable sofas are also available, offering a social space for guests.

The 24-hour front desk handles check-in/check-out, luggage storage behind the desk with a labelling system, and provides earplugs and free maps of Brooklyn. Wi-Fi is free throughout the building, though reports suggest connectivity can be weak in rooms on upper floors. Shared bathrooms are cleaned daily. A refundable $50 key deposit is taken upon check-in and returned within 14 days after checkout. No elevator is available - the property has three floors reached by stairs. Key-card access is used for the building and rooms.
