JOURNEY INN MADRID, Madrid

The property is located in a tranquil neighbourhood near shopping centres (CC Las Rosas) and a range of restaurants within 0.5 km. The metro station on Line 2 is about 9 minutes on foot, placing central Madrid (Sol station) within a 20-minute ride. Bus stops are also nearby. Free street parking is available in the area, making it practical for car travellers. Key landmarks are accessible by metro or bus: IFEMA is 6 km away, and the Prado Museum, Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum and El Retiro Park are each about 8 km from the property. Adolfo Suarez Madrid-Barajas Airport is 8 km away, reachable by car or metro. The surrounding area is quiet and safe, though the front door of the building does not always close securely, so care is advised when arriving late.

Each air-conditioned unit has one bedroom with either one large double or a setup with two single beds. Rooms are equipped with a private bathroom (shower, hairdryer, toiletries), a kitchenette containing a stovetop, refrigerator, electric kettle, kitchenware, and a washing machine. A dining table is also provided. While some rooms are described as spacious and newly renovated with good natural light, others are windowless, poorly finished, or have thin walls that carry noise from neighbours, the main entrance and the hallways. Cleanliness is inconsistent: some find the room very clean, while others report dust, hairs, unclean bathroom glass, and bedding that was not changed. The front door is sliding and very noisy. Some rooms face a street or the building's internal corridor. There is no TV in the rooms. The furniture is basic and sometimes poorly maintained. For light sleepers, a room away from the main door and corridor is strongly recommended.

The property does not offer breakfast or a restaurant on site. The kitchenette allows guests to prepare simple meals using the stovetop, refrigerator, and kettle, though some have noted that the kitchenware is minimal and there is no microwave. For eating out, several options are within 0.5 km: Cafe & Tapas cc Gran Plaza 2, Vips, Da Jin Hong and El Almacen. More options including Mulan, Meson Gallego San Blas and Bodegon El Alambique are about 1 km away. A small shop opposite the building is convenient for basic supplies.

There are no wellness facilities such as a pool, spa, gym or sauna at the property. Leisure options centre on the location itself: the quiet residential neighbourhood is pleasant for an evening stroll, and the nearby metro line provides direct access to central Madrid's museums, parks and entertainment. The surrounding area includes a shopping centre (CC Las Rosas) a short walk away.
