KNIGHTS INN MESA, Mesa

Room types include configurations with one or two beds, with a maximum occupancy of 5 guests per room. Standard in-room features include a sitting area, free toiletries, AM/FM alarm clock, and carpeted floors. The condition of rooms is widely variable: some reports note clean, functional spaces with comfortable beds and working flat-screen TVs, while others describe aged furniture, stained carpets, and maintenance issues like broken fixtures or duct-taped air conditioning units. The toilet in some rooms is not securely fastened to the floor, which can be a safety hazard. Windows are present, but curtains may have holes or be poorly fitted. Rooms away from the main road tend to be quieter. For the price-sensitive traveller who accepts a no-frills, basic environment, the accommodation serves as a low-cost sleeping base.

The continental breakfast offering is very minimal, generally consisting of prepackaged granola bars, small muffins or sweet rolls, and coffee with cream and sugar. There is no hot food selection. The coffee quality has been noted as acceptable by some. For a more substantial morning meal or dinner, several options are within walking distance: La Tiendita Cafe (0.5 km), Inside The Bungalow (1 km), plus fast food and convenience stores adjacent to the property. The motel has no restaurant or room service, so planning meals off-site is recommended.

The property features an outdoor swimming pool that is open year-round. While some visits have found the pool clean and usable, a significant number of accounts describe the pool as filled with leaves, dirt, or not in service (closed and neglected). The condition appears to fluctuate with no consistent maintenance schedule. There is no fitness centre, spa, or other leisure amenities on site. The pool area provides limited seating and a sunbathing area. Given the seasonal extreme heat of Mesa (summer temperatures frequently above 38°C / 38 °C), a swimming pool can be a desirable feature, but its actual availability and cleanliness should be confirmed at check-in before relying on it.
