The hotel sits in a quiet, safe area on the outskirts of Rome, adjacent to the Domitilla catacombs and a pleasant park. A little farther away are the Catacombs of San Callisto. The bus stop Navigatori (lines 30, 714, 160) is a 7-8 minute walk and takes you to the city centre in about 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic. Buses can be crowded during rush hours. Bus 714 connects directly to Termini station, and bus 30 goes to Piazza Venezia. After midnight, you will need a taxi, which costs about €30-€40. A supermarket (Carrefour Express), a fruit market, a pasticceria, and a gelateria are within short walking distance. The hotel's map provided after booking helps with orientation. The L1 train from Fiumicino Airport to Ostiense station, followed by bus 30 to Navigatori, is the recommended airport transfer route.

Rooms vary significantly by wing. The newer wing offers spacious, modern rooms with comfortable beds, large bathrooms, and a balcony or terrace - some with garden views. Older rooms in the main building are functional but dated, with compact bathrooms and smaller dimensions. Some ground-floor rooms (especially category 'economic') face an interior wall with very poor natural light and feel like a semi-basement. Road-facing rooms receive some street noise. All rooms have air conditioning (controlled centrally until June 1st), a flat-screen cable TV, a minibar/fridge, a safe, a hairdryer, and free toiletries. Heating is available. The walls are thin - you can hear neighbours and corridor noise. Daily housekeeping is included. No tea/coffee making facilities, iron, or ironing board are provided.
