LA GOELETTE - PALAIS DES FESTIVALS, Cannes

The apartment sits right on the main pedestrian square, surrounded by shops, restaurants, and bars within a 0.5 km radius - Le Caveau, Voglia di Pasta Cannes, and Astoux et Brun are all nearby. A supermarket and fresh market are just around the corner. The Croisette beaches (public and private) begin a 7-minute walk behind the Festival Palace, while the noon beaches along the harbour are a 10-minute walk away. Despite the central location with lively street activity, double-glazed sliding doors and soundproofing effectively reduce outside noise. Nice Côte d'Azur Airport is 26 km away.

The apartment features a double bed or two single beds, a sitting area with a flat-screen TV (Netflix, YouTube), parquet flooring, and a work desk. The kitchenette includes an electric kettle, microwave, cookware, washer/dryer, and ironing facilities - well-presented but not heavily used. The balcony offers extensive views (though limited straight-down views from the 4th floor due to building design). Soundproofing is effective, and air conditioning is quiet and reliable. A hallway closet stores beach items such as an umbrella.

The immediate pedestrian area is dense with dining options: Astoux et Brun, Voglia di Pasta Cannes, Le Caveau 30, Chez Freddy, Glacier Niva, La Bottega del Caffe, Marina Caffe, and BeefHouse Cannes are all within 300 m. A coffee shop is on site. A supermarket and a fresh market are right around the corner for groceries. The apartment's kitchenette is equipped for basic meal preparation, though many prefer to take advantage of the nearby restaurants. The host can provide dining recommendations upon request.

The nearest beach (Plage du Palais des Festivals) is a 5-minute walk away, with a further 1+ km of Croisette beaches just behind the Festival Palace. The property offers a sun terrace and direct beachfront access. A golf course is within 3 km for an extra fee. The apartment itself has a balcony with extensive views and a terrace for relaxation.
