LA QUINTA INN BY WYNDHAM NASHVILLE SOUTH, Nashville

This La Quinta Inn is situated on the south side of Nashville, providing straightforward access to I-65 for reaching downtown Nashville (10 km, roughly 21 minutes), Nissan Stadium (12 km), and the Nashville Convention Center (8 km). The airport is about 14 km away. The immediate area includes a Cracker Barrel and Waffle House within the same parking lot, a Circle K gas station, and several quick-service restaurants. Radnor Lake Natural Area and Wildlife Refuge is less than 6 km away. There is no shuttle to downtown or the airport, so driving or rideshare is necessary. The surrounding neighborhood is described as safe but the hotel sits directly next to a rail yard, causing persistent train noise.

Guest rooms at the property come in triple, suite, and quadruple configurations, all with private bathrooms and essential amenities such as air conditioning, tea and coffee maker, ironing facilities, hairdryer, and free toiletries. Pillow-top mattresses and down/feather pillows are standard. Deluxe double rooms include mini-fridge and microwave; some triple rooms and suites offer a seating area with a sofa, and the king suite has a pull-out couch. ADA-compliant rooms on the first floor are available. The hotel is currently undergoing renovation, so the condition varies: recently updated rooms are described as modern, clean, and comfortable, while older rooms have been noted for issues including cleanliness problems, stained linens, broken furniture, mold, and musty odours. Road-facing rooms are vulnerable to train noise from the adjacent rail yard.

Breakfast at this La Quinta is a free self-serve buffet included in the room rate, featuring waffle batter, sausage links, pastries, bagels, toast, fresh fruit, cold cereal, juice, and coffee. The breakfast area is described as clean and well-stocked by some visitors, though others note the selection is basic - it generally does not include eggs, bacon, or hot items beyond the waffle maker and sausage. Service runs from 6:00 to 9:00 AM. There is no restaurant or bar on the property. For guests wanting a more substantial hot meal or an alternative, a Cracker Barrel and a Waffle House are in the same parking lot.
