The hotel is on the quieter edge of Sedona, next to the golf resort and across the street from restaurants in Oak Creek. Downtown Sedona, with its galleries and shops, is a 15-minute drive; Sedona Airport is 20 minutes away; Red Rock State Park is a 30-minute drive. Additional dining, including Tortas de Fuego at 4 km and cafes and tasting rooms at 6-7 km, is close enough for a short drive. The setting is calm and less congested than central Sedona, but most of the red-rock viewpoints and hiking trailheads require a car. The front desk lends Red Rock parking passes, which makes trailhead access simpler.

Every suite has a private entrance and the same bed setup: one king bed and one queen sleeper sofa, with no roll-away beds available. The living area and bedroom are separated by a two-way glass fireplace rather than a door. Kitchenettes include a microwave, small refrigerator, and coffee-making facilities; villas come with a full kitchen. Deluxe rooms do not have a patio or balcony, while other suites have either a patio or balcony; some balconies face the parking area and vegetation can partly block red-rock views. Some suites sit near the parking lot, and walls between units are not heavily soundproofed, so traffic or neighbour noise can be audible. Rooms are spacious, with high ceilings, large bathrooms, and some with a separate tub and shower. Renovation levels vary: some suites are newly updated, while others have an older feel. All rooms are non-smoking and have air conditioning, heating, and a flat-screen TV.

The outdoor saltwater pool is not heated, so comfortable use depends on the weather; sun loungers, umbrellas, and a pool fence are provided. The outdoor jacuzzi and sauna are free and remain open all year, closing at 10 pm each night. Massage services - back, neck, head, hand, foot, full-body, and couples - are available for an additional charge, and the fitness centre also carries an additional fee. For active stays, there is table tennis, hiking, cycling, canoeing, fishing, horseback riding, and a golf course within 3 km; these are off-site or paid in some cases. The property can arrange bike tours, walking tours, jeep tours, and local-culture experiences. Evening options include an outdoor fireplace, board games, hammock, and a telescope for stargazing.

Free parking sits in front of the suites, with overflow parking at the front of the property and accessible spaces; no reservation is needed. WiFi is free throughout. Services include concierge, tour desk, luggage storage, express check-in/out, free safety deposit box, and a business centre with fax/photocopying.
