LE NOUVEL HOTEL DU THEATRE, Paris

The hotel sits on a quiet side street in the Montparnasse district, a lively area known for its many restaurants, bars, and theatres. Montparnasse Train Station is only 350 metres away, giving direct high-speed rail connections. Galeries Lafayette and the Jardins du Luxembourg are within one kilometre. The Eiffel Tower is 4 km away and Opéra Garnier is 4 km away. A shuttle bus stop to Orly or Charles de Gaulle airports is just 50 metres from the hotel. Public parking is available 50 metres away on rue du Commandant, though no on-site parking exists. The walkability is excellent: everything from grocery shopping to dining and theatre visits is within a few minutes on foot, and the metro provides fast access to central attractions.

All rooms feature a private bathroom with a shower, hairdryer, and complimentary toiletries. Each room includes a flat-screen TV, a minibar, heating, and a tea and coffee maker with an electric kettle. Some rooms offer city views. The décor is traditional and some areas may feel dated, but the rooms are generally well-equipped and clean. The beds are described as comfortable by many who have stayed. Note that the setting is classic rather than modern. Rooms on upper floors require climbing narrow spiral stairs. The portable air-conditioning unit can be audible when placed near the window, and street-facing rooms may experience noise from the surroundings. A wardrobe, safe deposit box, and carpeted flooring are included.

Breakfast is continental in style, served in a small breakfast room. For lunch and evening meals, a wide variety of restaurants are within 650 metres, including well-known addresses such as La Coupole and Le Relais de l'Entrecôte. Many other dining choices-from pizza to traditional French cuisine-are also within a 300-metre radius of the hotel. A vending machine for drinks is available on site.

Wi-Fi is free throughout the hotel. The 24-hour front desk can assist with check-in and check-out at flexible times, and luggage storage is available at no charge. A safety deposit box is also free. The property offers express check-in/check-out and a fax/photocopying service. A vending machine for drinks is available. The hotel does not have its own restaurant, spa, or swimming pool. There is no lift on site, so accessing upper floors requires climbing stairs. Parking is not available on site, but public parking is situated 50 metres away.
