HOTEL TELEMAQUE, Paris

The location is one of the hotel's strongest assets. It is within a 5-10 minute walk of Montparnasse station, providing direct metro and RER lines to central Paris, both airports (Orly and CDG), and major attractions. The surrounding streets are packed with restaurants, bakeries, supermarkets, and bistros. Luxembourg Gardens is a 20-minute walk away, while Notre-Dame and the Louvre are 35-40 minutes on foot or a quick metro ride. The area feels safe even late at night, and car-free city exploration is easy. For those arriving by train, the short walk from the station is convenient, but note there is no parking.

Breakfast is not automatically included; availability and cost must be confirmed when booking. The hotel has no restaurant or bar, but the surrounding area offers an exceptional variety of dining options within a 2-5 minute walk. Many bistros, bakeries, patisseries, and international restaurants are on the same street. For quick snacks and drinks, vending machines are available in the lobby. If you prefer to eat in your room, nearby supermarkets and bakeries provide takeaway options. Note that there is no kettle in the room, so hot drinks may require a trip to a nearby café.

There are no on-site wellness facilities such as a spa, pool, or fitness centre. The hotel's appeal for leisure lies entirely in its location: guests can walk to Luxembourg Gardens, explore the vibrant local streets, and use the excellent public transport to reach all Paris attractions. The shared lounge/TV area provides a communal space to relax indoors.

Free Wi-Fi is available in public areas and generally works well. The 24-hour reception offers express check-in/out and luggage storage, which is useful for early arrivals or late departures. Daily housekeeping is included, though some rooms may have superficial cleaning. Room service is available. There is no lift - the three floors are accessed via a narrow, carpeted staircase. Parking is not available. The hotel provides key access; you must leave your key at reception each time you leave the building. Payment is by Visa or Mastercard, but local city tax must be paid in cash. Laundry and ironing facilities are not available in the room. Fax/photocopying is offered for an additional charge.
